Thinking about featuring a business every week/month/something. Could promote them on the front page, get a bio, a few pictures, etc, get them to put up a sticker or card of some sort. Thoughts?

Sounds like a great idea. I have an outline/form to rate businesses on, I'll e-mail it to you. I think it would be good to give ratings to the businesses that are evaluated. Monthly would be a good start for featuring until the site gets bigger, in my opinion.
suggestions I have:
Blind Onion
5 Guys
Small coffee shops (NOT Starbucks/Peets/Tulleys)
Any small business food places... (Sima's - don't know if actual name, we just call it that)
Goldie's BBQ
Hawaiian Time Cafe

Address
Phone
Website
Our Review
Comments from Owner\Manager
Comments\Ratings
There may be other information that the staff gathers, but for a useful review of a business, I think these are the basics.
