Da ~ Kine's Cafe opened in December of 2005. We are a family owned and operated business. Our family moved to Vancouver in June of 1991 from the west side of the island of Oahu. We have since been followed by many others and now our family in Vancouver consists of 40 or so cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.
Our menu contains island favorites that we have brought with us as well as mainlaind type foods that we have come to enjoy. We hope that you enjoy your visit to Da ~ Kine's and consider us part of your family as well.

If you are looking for a great place to eat and your taste buds are in search of Island type food, Da Kine's Cafe would be a great choice. Head over to the SW corner of the Eastridge Business Park (the corner of 117th Ave and 95th St. in Orchards).
Offering dine-in, take-out, and catering, Da Kine's is sure to satisfy you with their diverse menu. A combination of Island and standard American fair, whether breakfast lunch or dinner, there is something for everyone. Each week-day offers daily specials (the meatloaf sadwich on Tuesdays is AMAZING) and if you answer the trivia question correctly you earn a discount on your coffee!
The dining room has a homey feel to it and is always packed at lunchtime. The staff are friendly, often calling most customers by first name. The sign on their wall reads "Here ~ everyone's o'hana" and during every visit, we have been treated as such.
